Second Play
Play passes to the left. The second
player combines number and/or operation symbols with
those already played to form a new equation. At least one
of the tiles played must be positioned adjacent to a
previously played tile, no previously played tiles may be
moved, and all tiles played in any one turn must be
placed in one equation across or one equation downward.
The second player creates the new equation 28 = 4 x 7. An
equal symbol is available to a player at any time.

This player is awarded only a
2-point score for the number 8 because this player did
not place that tile on the premium board position 3S. The
number 7 is awarded a score of 4 because it is positioned
on the premium board position 2S that awards 2 times the
individual symbol score. The score for this play is 11
points (1 + 2 + 0 + 1 + 3 + 4 = 11). The player draws
four new number or operation tiles to replace those
played.
